Back then in the olden days when not many people had cars people rode on trains instead that is how they got from place to place. That is also sometimes how the railroad workers got home. Back then conducting a train was a hard job to do so it was really hard to get a job conducting them. Back then it was not hard to get a job working on building a train track.
