Every year in July I go to church camp. The church camp is in Steelville, MO. There is tons of activities to do there some activities are, canoeing, rafting, go to a cave, swimming, fishing, tubing, and horseback riding, But the most awesome activity is going to church at night. Then after church we can do whatever we want to do, like the snack shack, and the rec hall, and just hang out with your friends.

My friends and I at school planned to go trick or treating tonight. We came upon this cave, it was dark, echoed everything we said. So one of us went in and the rest of us waited and waited for 30 minutes and she didn't come out so we were getting really worried. Then when we decided to go in to the cave to go looking for her, we heard something close behind us. We tried to go back but there was something blocking us so we couldn't get out. We turned around and  kept going. An hour later we found Nicole and it was not a pretty sight, she was cold, not breathing, did not have a pulse. We didn't know what to do. We kept on going in further and further, until we found a mysterious book, we have never seen this book before. We opened the book and saw the first page and it said DO NOT READ A LOUD in capitalized letters, then we turned to the second page and it said IF YOU READ A LOUD EVERYTHING WILL COME TRUE, we all looked at each other and screamed. A week later everything that we read came true....

The reason why cheese its are banned is because some kid choked on a cheeze it. I mean come on like really everyone likes cheeze its, and what I want to know is how does a person choke on a cheeze it. Just because one kid chokes on a cheeze it does not mean that they can't have cheese its in the cafeteria. Anyways let me just explain how this kid choked, last Monday, November 14 Bob just had to throw a cheeze it at some one when they where talking. So as you can see what happened next, yes you are right. While this kid was talking the cheeze it went down his throat and it got stuck. So one of the teachers called 911 and they came right away. So the next day he came back to school and he was fine, but for Bob not so much, because of what he did he got OSS.

Trend /Football Game

Tonight I have trend and then I get to go to the football game. I was in trend last year and it was so fun, we got to have pizza party's, ice-cream party's, and also we get to go to the volleyball games or a football game. So i think its pretty fun, but what i like about it is that we get to go to the football game afterwords. The football game tonight is going to be awesome because we are versing DeSoto tonight. The eighth graders better win because they haven't won a game yet so I really hope that we win. Now the seventh graders have won all their games since the beginning of the season.

Breaking the Dallas Cowboys plan down | AMCB Design

This weekend my dad said that we are going up to St. Louis to see the Rams and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The reason why we are going is because I really want to go to a professional football game. My outfit that I am going to be wearing is my Dallas Cowboys shirt that says Dallas Cowboys Just Do It on the front or my shirt that just says cowboys on it. Now come on I mean really would you want to wear a shirt that says Dallas Cowboys Just do It or one that just says Cowboys obviously the first right. So I am so excited about going.

The waves are still and quiet. The sky is darkening quickly and its getting real windy. There is no sun showing now the sky is completely dark. There's this one kid just playing out in the ocean "what is he doing" said a person. "I don't know" said another person. They saw a shark fin coming up behind the little boy. They yelled as loud as they can, but the boy couldn't hear them. So then when the two girls got to the boy it was too late the shark had already gotten to the boy. The two girls was just standing there scared too death literally. By then the shark had already eaten them, and no one else saw what happened to them, and they never saw the two girls or the little boy ever again.

My Day so Far

 My day so far has been great because for first hour I have gym and it was  fun. We had to run 7 laps which is easy but when we played the game cage ball it was more than fun, because I have a lot of funny people in my class which makes it even better. Then for second hour I have choir and I am an alto which is really awesome because I have been a surprano for 5 years so I am so happy that I am an alto. Then for third hour I have communication arts. Our class today was in the library because we had to go on Study Island and do a pre-test. Now for fourth hour I have Technology. Right now I am doing my blog.

Gum

My friend gave me a piece of onion and garlic flavored gum and let me just tell you something it was one of the worst pieces of gum I have ever had. I asked her where did she get the gum from and she said "oh um I am not sure" so I was like "well um did you get it from a store from the garbage where." Then she was all like "oh well if you don't want my gum then why did you take it." The I said "I want gum so bad so please." So that is how I got a disgusting piece of gum.

4 Day Weekend | Unfiltered

Guess what this weekend is its a 4 day weekend. This weekend is going to to be a lot of fun because I am going to the movies and going to hang out with my friends and family. Also my family and I are going to up to St. Louis and just have some family time. On Sunday we are going to be going to church, then we are going to be BBQing after church. Then

NBA Playoffs

The NBA Playoffs started a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, my favorite team, The Portland Trailblazers, were eliminated. I'm still hoping that next year they can win. Anyway, I'm still rooting for one other team, I hope The Indiana Pacers win the playoffs. They haven't had a championship in a while. They have lots of great and talented players, but they just can't seem to execute. They also had a lot of team chemistry problems in the beginning of the playoffs. They seem to be doing fine after coming off a win against the Heat. Hopefully this year, they can at least become Eastern Conference Champions.

Skyler Cunningham

Skyler is considered to be one of my good friends. We may bump heads sometimes and we disrupt class quite a bit, but we are still friends. Skyler is cool to be around because he is funny and always gets my dumb jokes. One thing is sometimes he doesn't think before he says something. I do the same thing, so I guess I'm not one to criticize him. We also can't sit next to each other because we talk too much. I can understand why that's annoying. We do talk about pretty stupid stuff sometimes! Overall Skyler is still one of my good friends, and I just wish we didn't get in trouble when we sat next to each other.

Circle Of Death

In Mr.Krysl's class we will be doing a Circle Of Death. A Circle Of Death is when some people sit in a circle and debate over a certain topic and you're graded on your participation in the debate. I really like this activity because it gives me time to express how I feel about certain topics. One item we will be debating, is whether or not it's okay to wear clothing that has the Confederate flag on it. I feel that if people are offended by this it's their own fault and should not be blamed on by the flag. True, it does represent when slavery was a common, but that was 200 years ago it's in the past we have moved on.

Story-Telling

I'm excited about the next project coming up called the Story-Telling Project. We get to take a collection of pictures and our own narration over it. I will be doing my project over the NBA. I will be talking NBA stars who really made a difference in the NBA. I will also talk about more current players who making a big splash in the NBA. Also I will be talking about my favorite team, The Portland Trailblazers. They're currently in the playoffs. They're down 3-1 against The Spurs. I'm really excited about this project because will get to share my knowledge and how big of a fan I am.

Cesar

Cesar is my one my best friends. He always makes me laugh. Whether be a joke or he is just being Cesar. Which could be a bad or good thing depending on how you interpret it. He is never mean to me. I like him for that no matter what I say to him he is always nice. And I feel bad sometimes because he is a lot nicer to me than I am to him. However, we look past our problems and we remain friends. I'm glad to have a friend like Cesar. Sometimes he is not very trustworthy, but that is his only fault. I can legitimately say there is nothing else I find wrong with Cesar besides that sometimes he blabs off about something that could be left unsaid. Honestly Cesar is one of the best friends I have ever had.

Abe's Boombox

One day Abraham Lincoln, our 16th president, was bored so he decided to invent something. He worked very hard to try and invent something that could play music, so he could listen to all the smash hits of the 1800's. You know like uhhh............ well I wasn't alive back then, so I wouldn't know. Abe knew his favorite songs that I cannot currently think of, but he put countless weeks into his invention until he made the perfect music player. The Boombox. He named it this because the sound was so loud the bass would make a booming noise. This invention became so popular this was one of the reasons he was elected. This story was definitely real.

Sleep

Sleep. I love sleep so much it's a lot of fun. I get to rest and have amazing dreams. It helps me rest and recuperate from a long day. Like yesterday and my desk "magically" flipped over and bruised my tailbone. Sleep helped me deal with the pain it caused, and now it barely hurts. I feel sorry for those people that have insomnia or are restless and can't sleep. It must be terrible for them. I use to be really hyper when I was young and hated sleeping, but now my bed is the best place for me.I hope I never have sleeping problems because I couldn't take my daily naps.

The Best Book I Have Ever Read Is Crazy

My favorite book is Crazy. I like this book because I can relate to it. It's about a poor boy that has people inside his head that talk and narrate his life. He also has a father that has a mental disorder that makes him always talk about mythology and sometimes he doesn't even know his own son. I feel I can relate to it because my dad was always doing "something" or was away from me. He was sometimes "out of it" like the kid's dad in this story, but he wasn't a big fan of mythology. I liked this book so much because it was relate-able and a good read.

Penguins

Penguins are slow-walking birds that can't fly. Why am I typing about them you ask? No clue. Anyway, they look like they're wearing a tuxedo, so that's a thing. Penguins also like to eat fish and slide on their stomachs. That would be pretty awesome to watch.......I guess. Penguins sure are something that's for sure. They are so cool how they waddle slowly, and sit on eggs for a couple of months, and can dance. Well, I got that last one off of Happy Feet. Good movie by the way. The second one not so much, didn't care for it. Anyway.....Penguins.

An Instruction Manual For Kids Bored On A Snow Day

Parents, for all of your kids that say "I'm bored" here is a thing just for you.

• First ask your kids if they would like to do anything.
• They will most likely say yes because they're bored.
• Suggest sledding, it is one of a child's favorite things to do in the snow.
• If you don't have a sled, then you can always do different activities like: snowball fights, building a snow man, or making snow angels.
• If none of these work, then just buy your kid a Xbox.

Basketball

Basketball is my favorite sport. I like to watch NCAA and the NBA. My favorite player in the NBA is Damian Lillard. My favorite college player is Andrew Wiggins. Besides watching the sport, I also enjoy playing it. I have a a basketball goal at my house that I practically play all day on it. Sometimes me and my grandpa or one of my friends will play horse or one on one. Anything that involves Basketball is something I'm all about. During the summer I'm planning on attending basketball camp and practicing during the summer. Hopefully whenever I'm in high school I'll play basketball.

Pride

Pride makes me feel a lot of different emotions. This movie brings out the worst and the best out of me. At some points, I feel really sad or this movie makes me feel very happy. The movie also shows the problems of racism back in the 1970's. There was lots of use of racism and slurs by the white people towards the black people back then. At the end of the movie showed no matter how much they were frowned upon, they showed with enough heart you can overcome any obstacle. Andre gave up the anchor position to give Reggie a chance to show that he could do it. After that they greeted coach Ellis with the first place trophy. The ending made me feel really happy because through all their hard work and training they had finally beaten Mainline Academy. I thought it was a very uplifting story about how no matter the odds, or how other people act, with enough heart you can overcome anything.

According to this article everyone in Norway could be a millionaire. The government in Norway has saved and accumulated a lot of money. They then decided to invest it in stock. After a while they had made so much money that everyone in Norway could become a millionaire.

What Is The Worst Thing A Parent Can Do To Their Child?

The worst thing a parent can do to their child is to abandon them. Abandoning a child is probably one of the worst forms of abuse that can affect a child. Not knowing who your real parents are can hurt any child. Also your parents could just be bad people and you HAVE to be taken away from them. This still affects them greatly only being able to see your biological parent for visits every once in a while is not good for the child. Having a parent give up their children or making poor decisions and having their children taken away can hurt them. I don't think some parents think about how much this affects the child.

Gum

Gum is basically currency. In our school if you have the right amount of gum you can get anything you want. Like this morning for example, I gave Jacob one dollar for two pieces of Dr.Pepper gum. But if you have gum, you will be bombarded with people begging for gum with either the excuse of "I thought we were friends" or "C'mon I gave you some yesterday." Most of the time this won't work usually you will give something to get gum or someone will give it to you. It's just best not to ask sometimes. I'm just glad I have a friend who comes to school with a pack on him everyday or else I would be just another beggar.

Rumors

Rumors can affect people in major ways. Some rumors can brighten up your day, but some can completely destroy someones reputation. Rumors have caused many problems for people such as low self esteem, depression, and suicide. I know some rumors that float around this school are harmless and are just funny, but I know some that could really hurt some people. I don't spread rumors, I simply observe and see what happens. Sometimes I feel I should step in and help get rid of a nasty rumor, but I also feel very tempted to spread one. I will admit I have spread rumors, but I know when to stop.

QR Codes Are A Thing...

I had a lot of fun with the QR codes. They were a little frustrating trying to get all of the m to the right size and made sure they all worked, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. Jordan, Willie, and I had a lot of fun doing this project. We did ours about Domino's Pizza. By scanning a simple QR code you could play the game dominoes,  you could call Domino's, you could even see what Domino's are near you. With a simple scan we made very easy for someone to order pizza, or learn about it.

What Would I Do With The IPhonus?

If I had owned the IPhonus I would probably play Wizard Chess the entire time. I would only play chess because I do not like Harry Potter at all. Chess however, keeps me interested and my mind active. Also I would have no use for these apps because they wouldn't do the awesome stuff they do in the movies that I was forced to watch. Besides, I'm more of Rick Riordan fan, so if they had some Roman and Greek apps that would be a whole lot better in my opinion.

Coding Activities

I like the coding activities. They always keep me thinking and I always like a challenge. It gets very frustrating at times, but whenever I figure it out I feel very accomplished.  I always liked to figure how things moved and how to move them, so the coding courses have been a lot of fun. As of recent the activities have been getting a lot more challenging, but that makes them more fun. I also like how they implemented Angry Birds and Plants VS. Zombies it makes the course a lot more appealing to children our age.

What I Will Never Forget About Being 14.

What I will never forget is kind of weird. I will never forget about being able to start growing a mustache. It made me very happy my grandpa told me I was going to learn to shave. I cut myself a few times, but I will never forget the first time I shaved. As an adult I would forget about this because I will shave many more times. When I'm older I will probably have a fuller mustache. Hopefully I do not forget this because this was one of the few things that made me think I was growing up.

Crazy Water Slide!

Verruckt is a giant 17 story water slide. The Verruckt differs from Insano by being 3 stories taller than it. Jeff is called "The Water Wizard" because he has crazy idea for water slides that he brings to life. I would love to ride the Verruckt because I love tall and scary rides.

Miniature Windmills Could Power Your Devices!

It's possible that one day our devices will be powered by microscopic windmills. This does sound crazy, but a inventor by the name Jung-Chih Chiao thinks this is possible. He won't disclose exactly how much power a windmill will generate. However, he did say that this windmill could power a phone, or even keep a house working. This is an amazing discovery and will hopefully be used by many people in the near future.
